On Saturday November

6 at a pub in Oban, police responded to two separate reports of assault within the premises at about 11pm. A 47-year-old and a 46-yearold were both arrested and charged – one with serious assault, the other with assault. Reports have been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

At 2.45pm on Monday November 8 outside the Royal Bank of Scotland, George Street, Oban, it is alleged that a parked car was struck by another vehicle.

At 10.50pm on Monday November 8 at an address in Sinclair Drive, Oban, police attended after a 34-year-old man allegedly assaulted a woman and smashed her mobile phone. He was charged and will appear at Oban Sheriff Court.

At 9.30am on Tuesday November 9 near Dalmally, police stopped a vehicle on the A85 during a roadside check and found the vehicle had illegal tyres. The 53-yearold male driver was charged and a report submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

Between 11am and 3pm on Tuesday November 9 within Lorn and Islands hospital car park, Glengallan Road, Oban, it is alleged that a white campervan collided with an unattended parked car.

At 9.10pm on Tuesday November 9 at a pub in Oban, a man was reported to be acting in a threatenin­g manner towards customers and assaulted a staff member. A 30-year-old man was arrested. While in the police station he allegedly continued to act in a threatenin­g manner and assaulted police officers. He was charged with the offences and kept in custody to appear at court.

At 1.45am on Wednesday November 10 at an address in Combie Court, Glencruitt­en Road, Oban, a 21-year-old woman was charged with causing a disturbanc­e. She also allegedly assaulted a police officer and resisted arrest.

Between 9am and 11pm on Sunday November 7 at an address in Burnside Court, Miller Road, Oban, a window was vandalised.

Between 10am on Wednesday

November 3, and 9am on Tuesday November 9 at an address in St Conan’s Road, Loch Awe, heating fuel oil was stolen from a tank.

At 6pm on Wednesday November 10 at an address in Stevenson Street, Oban, police responded to a report of a disturbanc­e. A 30-yearold woman and a man, 31, were charged and a report sent to the Procurator Fiscal.

Between 8.30am and 4pm on Wednesday November 10 at the North Pier, Oban, an unattended parked was struck by another vehicle causing damage.

At 3.05pm on Saturday November 12 at a hotel in Oban, police responded to a report of a man allegedly in possession of a bladed article in a public place. A 22-year-old man was arrested with the offence and kept in custody to appear at Oban Sheriff Court.
