Loo learning
SIR: I was surprised that there was no letter about the Izal (Olden Life, June issue) toilet rolls in the 1930s that had limericks based on nursery rhymes printed on them. Learning to read at the time, I was keen to practise and got into deep trouble for unravelling to the end of the roll to find how many different rhymes I could find. Molly Booth, Stockport, Cheshire.
