I clean dust in plug sockets

Q I think I may have a form of OCD. In addition to my daily routine of cleaning and polishing, I have noticed dust in the electric sockets and have found using cotton buds to clean them a perfect solution. My wife thinks I am obsessing. Gerald, Worcestershire A You are obsessing. And you are even obsessing if you have a ‘daily routine of cleaning and polishing’. You don’t have to do it daily, honestly. And if you insist on cleaning the plugs, make sure you never poke three cotton buds into each socket hole at the same time or your cleaning and polishing days will, I’m afraid, be over in a flash, in more ways than one.
