SIR: In his ‘Words and Stuff’ (Septem­ber is­sue), Johnny Gri­mond might also have been ‘Os­car Kilo’ with a sketch I re­call from David Frost and the TW3 gang in­volv­ing a cler­gy­man try­ing to iden­tify him­self to, pre­sum­ably, an­other mem­ber of the cloth, on a crackly tele­phone line. ‘It’s Hen­der­son here, no, Hen­der­son, HEN­DER­SON – H for HABAKKUK, E for EZEKIEL, N for NEHEMIAH, D for DEUTERON­OMY...’ Alan Bunt­ing, Harpen­den, Hert­ford­shire.
