With Kirsty Fergusson 3rd–10th November 2020

- Full itinerary and terms and conditions at: www.theoldie.co.uk/tours

Following the success of our visit in 2018, we are returning to this magical island, 500 miles off the coast of Africa and clothed in glorious subtropical vegetation which has delighted botanists and gardeners – as well as winter sun-seekers – for centuries. The climate and volcanic soil have also proved hospitable to generations of Portuguese and British producers of the deliciously complex fortified wines that bear the name of the island. Discover the colour, warmth and tastes of Madeira while based in a luxurious hotel, perfectly placed for exploring, shopping, eating and drinking in the historic centre of Funchal. Kirsty has led many Oldie trips and is an excellent garden guide. Kirker is also providing a tour rep.
