Boris’s girl power bid
FOREIGN Secretary Boris Johnson has vowed never to go abroad again without a woman in his entourage.
He was embarrassed by his all-male team at a women’s empowerment event in New York this week.
“We will now be more diverse and representative of the country,” he said.
Foreign Office panels just comprising men – what Mr Johnson calls “manels” – will also be banned.
On his trip to New York he also had dinner with his old pal David Cameron – but aides denied that he had been spotted “dad dancing”.
They added he only urged Mr Cameron to apply to lead Nato “as a joke”.
