Can’t beat a jungle heart
THE world’s healthiest hearts have been discovered – deep in the Bolivian jungle.
A study in the Lancet found the Tsimane people, who hunt and fish on the Maniqui River, show hardly any signs of clogged-up arteries.
Experts hope we can learn lessons from their lifestyle and follow a diet that is low in saturated fats and high in non- processed carbs, along with game and fish.
