Jack ready to hit road

JACK RODWELL will join star striker Jermain Defoe in leaving SUNDERLAND – if they drop down.

The midfielder does not have a relegation clause in his contract and will remain on full wages even if the Black Cats sink to the Championship.

So the club would be keen to offload the 26-year-old among their cost-cutting measures.
