PLEASE spare a thought for Hull City defender Andrea Ranocchia.

The 29-year-old has been talking about life on Humberside and said: “I’ve been here two months, but I haven’t seen the sun. It rains every day. And I miss pasta.”

A couple of things. First, Andrea, you’re 29 years old – and being paid over £1million a year – so get over it.

Secondly, you’re living in a city of culture. Thirdly, presumably it never pelted it down in Milan where you spent time at Inter, did it?

But seriously, you miss pasta? It’s flour and water, potentially y with an egg thrown n in for good measure.

I’ll accept the sun n doesn’t shine very much in east Yorkshire andnd even that the heavens open moree than the national average – but theree are decent Italian restaurants in Hull.

Honestly, his comments are just pasta joke....
