Ale man is in the can
A RELEASED prisoner opened a tin of beer to toast his freedom – and was sent back to jail because he is banned from drinking.
It was the eleventh time Paul Bryan, 65, had breached the behaviour order in Newark, Notts, Nottingham Magistrates’ Court was told.
Homeless Bryan was jailed for six weeks. He must also pay £115.
Robert Hardy-McBride, defending, said: “It was a celebratory drink two days after he came out.”
