Walk of the week

THE easy two-mile Cemlyn shingle ridge walk in Anglesey starts at the Bryn Aber car park. 1 Exit and turn left, over bridge to shingle ridge, formed by the process of longshore drift. 2 Walk along the ridge towards the eastern car park. To your right is the Cemlyn National Nature Reserve, a seabird colony. There’s a tern viewing area on the ridge. 3 At car park, turn right down the lane past Tyddyn Sydney farm. 4 At road junction, bear right and walk on past the National Trust farm. 5 Right at the junction, follow lane over causeway and past Bryn Aber to car park.
