I BOUGHT a new front door from a company online. When it arrived it was well encased in bubble wrap so I couldn’t see any of the door. I arranged for a carpenter to hang it in my home but he couldn’t start for three weeks after the item had been delivered. When he unwrapped the door it had a large dent above the handle. I told the retailer but they said I needed to notify them of any damage within seven days, so they rejected my claim. What can I do?
