Saints are up for Mor

- By Tom Hopkinson

SOUTHAMPTON want to take young Turkish winger Emre Mor on loan from BORUSSIA DORTMUND.

The 19-year-old has asked to go out next season in a bid for more game time, and the Bundesliga outfit have given him the all-clear to do so.

Saints and Real Sociedad have both expressed an interest, but no final decision has been taken by the Germans on his whereabouts for the new campaign. ANDERLECHT have made a loan offer for NEWCASTLE goalkeeper Matz Sels – but Toon want them to pay all of his salary. The Belgian, 25, is a victim of a shake-up on Tyneside, with Pepe Reina on Rafa Benitez’s radar. Sels signed from Gent for £4.5million last year, but has failed to impress. BRIGHTON are hoping to land SUNDERLAND midfielder Seb Larsson.

The Swede, 32, is out of contract at the Stadium of Light and the Black Cats want him to stay – although on drastically reduced terms.

Turkey’s TRABZONSPOR have made a big offer, but he is keen to stay in England. NOTTINGHAM FOREST have signed HIBERNIAN striker Jason Cummings on a three-year deal. The 21-year-old said: “I am absolutely delighted. It’s a massive club and a great opportunity. It is the right time to move on.” BLACKBURN have beaten a host of Championship clubs to snap up Richie Smallwood.

Sheffield United, Ipswich, Millwall and Burton Albion were all keen on the midfielder, who is out of contract at ROTHERHAM.

But he has decided to drop into League One with Rovers and link up with his former Boro boss Tony Mowbray.
