KATIE Price’s ex-husband told last night how he contacted police in a rage after she revealed she showed lewd pictures of him to friends.
Cage fighter Alex Reid has made two visits to a police station to speak to detectives after Katie announced she had shared “disgusting” sex tapes.
Now he is planning to call in lawyers after angrily claiming the TV star’s comments make him a victim of a revenge porn offence.
Speaking to the Sunday People last night, Alex said he was being bullied and insisted it had to stop.
“I have reported her. Enough is enough,” he said yesterday just hours after leaving a police station.
“After seven years of bullying, harassment and threats I’ve had enough.
“I’ve been persecuted and it has to stop somewhere. Ultimately I want to be friendly. I did love her once but she is causing me, and everyone around me, my loved ones, so much pain.”
Alex, 42, who likes cross-dressing, claims that Katie took pictures of him without his consent when he was intoxicated.
Attack
He said: “For someone who has taken videos and recordings without my consent or knowledge when I was intoxicated... I am mortified and disgusted.
“It affects me and my family and I consider it a direct attack.”
Alex went to Colindale Police station in North London on Thursday where he sought advice from officers.
He said he had returned to meet police yesterday and will see them again today.
Alex says he is baffled by Katie’s comments because they go against previous promises she made about their 12-month marriage.
He said: “She has signed all sorts of things, admitted in front of lawyers and barristers and the law.
“She was someone I loved. She was someone I shared intimate things with. She has taken advantage of that.
“I believe she has flaunted it and broken it and I’ve basically had enough. I am ready to do this properly.”
Fans were open-mouthed last Tuesday when ITV’s Loose Women presenter Katie, 39, admitted she shared “disgusting” snaps of Alex with her friends.
She told Heat magazine: “Now, with Alex Reid, for example, the amount of stories he’s done on me, but he forgets what videos and pictures I have of him. “All of my friends have seen them, but not once have I put these videos out. One, it would disturb everyone to the grave, and number two, they’re not flattering, they’re disgusting. “You look at them and you’re disgusted. “So, it doesn’t matter what he does, I would never sell my soul and say, ‘Wow, do you want to see this?’ I will never, ever, over my dead body do it, because I wouldn’t stoop to that level.” Sources say that Alex wants the sex tapes to be handed over to him, otherwise they should be destroyed.
Alex and Katie married in 2010 in Las Vegas after a whirlwind romance, but the businesswoman filed for divorce just one year later.
She was granted a decree nisi on the grounds of his unreasonable behaviour in their short-lived marriage.
