Lucy back on Square

EASTENDERS star Tilly Keeper has told of her delight at getting to work with Lucy Benjamin, her on-screen mum, gushing: “She’s incredible.”

Fans saw her suprise return at the end of Friday’s epidode as Lisa Fowler, racing to the hospital bed of daughter Louise Mitchell after an attack by bullies.

Tilly, who has been in a the soap a year, said: “She was brilliant. I loved her straight away.

“She really switched something on in me, without sounding cheesy.

“We want to do the storyline justice. It’s Lisa’s return. It’s massive.”

Benjamin left the BBC1 soap in 2003 after shooting her ex Phil Mitchell.

Hinting at a big storyline, Tilly went on: “There’s going to be lots of drama.”
