Quiz as 7th mum dies

A HOSPITAL where six mums have died during pregnancy is investigating a seventh death.

The woman, who was 24 weeks pregnant, died at home while under the care of Homerton Hospital in East London.

It comes after The Care Quality Commission rated the trust’s maternity services inadequate for safety in 2015.

A Homerton Hospital University NHS Trust spokesman said: “An inquest is to be held next month into the death.”
