Huntley in jail whinge

- By Patrick Hill

YORKSHIRE Ripper Peter Sutcliffe says Ian Huntley begged him for advice on how he could be sent from jail to Broadmoor.

Sutcliffe said the Soham child killer asked for tips on getting a transfer to the psychiatric hospital.

They are both serving time at HMP Frankland in County Durham.

Sutcliffe told a friend: “Huntley said ‘how do you get into Broadmoor? I could do with spending some of my time in there’.

“Then I was speaking to him the other day and he mentioned it again. He said he gets a lot of grief here.

“I said ‘you don’t want to go there mate, it’s worse than this place’.

“They’re always looking into your head and asking stupid questions. You don’t get that nonsense here.”

Serial killer Sutcliffe, 71, was convicted of murdering 13 women in 1981. He was held in Broadmoor from 1984 until last August.

Huntley, 43, was jailed in 2003 for the murders of Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman, both 10, in Soham, Cambs, in 2002. A WEDDING dress made from toilet paper and adorned with 1,500 hand-cut butterflies won a $10,000 (£7,700) fashion prize in New York.
