Our little hairo

A MUM helped her cancer-hit daughter face up to her impending hair loss by having her own locks hacked off.

Seren Deverell, five, had waistlengt­h hair and was dubbed the Little Mermaid after the Disney character.

But chemothera­py for a rare cancer meant she would lose it all. So she first had a bob cut, then mum Jenny cropped her hair too as part of Macmillan Cancer Support’s Brave The Shave campaign.

Famous snapper Rankin, whose mum died of cancer, filmed Seren clipping away.

The youngster is battling Wilms’ tumour, which affects 80 children in the UK every year.
