RAUL ON THE PREM PROWL

RAUL MEIRELES is looking to make a return to the Premier League.

The 34-year-old former Chelsea and Liverpool midfielder is a free agent and hoping for a swansong in England.

The midfielder, who left Turkish giants Fenerbahce in the summer, has been talking with clubs in Italy and Spain.

Cagliari have expressed an interest in taking Meireles to Serie A. Now he has been offered to teams in the Premier League and is waiting on answers.

Swansea, West Brom, Watford and Leicester are understood to be among the top-flight clubs to have expressed an interest in him.

Meireles, who played for Portugal at the last World Cup, was last in the Premier League in 2012 with Chelsea – winning the Champions League – before moving to Fenerbahce that summer.
