Russia did not fix vote’

DONALD Trump has accepted Russian President Vladimir Putin’s denial that his nation sought to sway the US election.

The US President is taking Putin at his word and said: “He said he didn’t meddle. I asked him again. You can only ask so many times. I really believe that when he tells me that, he means it. I think he is very insulted by it.”

This is despite US intelligence agencies claiming Russia DID try to sway the poll in Trump’s favour.

A special investigator has been appointed and legal action is underway against ex-Trump aides.
