Ex’s fury at Mel B’s mother
HE has just settled his bitter legal fight with ex-wife Mel B but Stephen Belafonte could now face a battle with her mother.
The 42-year-old is said to be “furious” over Andrea Brown’s public allegations about him abusing his family.
Friends of the restaurateur say he could take legal action if she continues.
A source said: “Stephen is fuming. He has been so happy over the settlement but Mel’s mum won’t back down. She continues to accuse him of being a domestic abuser and that is the biggest deal for him. He wants to clear his name.”
Mel, 42, settled privately this week, just days before a scheduled two-week trial over the domestic violence claims.
Stephen said he was “the happiest guy in the world” adding: “I’m glad the cloud of suspicion of domestic violence is no longer over my head.”
If the trial had gone ahead it would have been a PR disaster for Mel. Dozens ozens of sex tapes were to be played in court. ourt.

But that did not stop Andrea, 60, posting more claims and including ng Mel’s daughter Phoenix, 18. She said: d: “My daughter is no quitter. The abuse e she and Phoenix went through will l not be settled out of court...all BS!!”
