Anger over suicide girl

-

THE family of a young woman criticised a hospital for lifting a mental health order on her three days before she killed herself.

Alana Feakins, 30, was admitted to Wotton Lawn hospital, Gloucester, with thoughts of self-harm.

She was detained under the Mental Health Act but this order was lifted after two weeks. She then suffocated on her ward.

After an inquest on Friday, her family protested that she had “access to something that took her life”.
