Torture for tots at hunger games

This fascinating series introduced us to a new bunch of tiny tots who were filmed taking on a series of challenges to help us understand how we develop emotional and social skills.

When sensible Patsy, cute Harper and sweet-toothed Vinnie had to decorate lollipops with melted chocolate and sprinkles they looked delighted.

But the instruction not to eat them until all their classmates had returned was torture of the worst kind for two of the trio. It took a whole five seconds of soul-searching before Vinnie and Harper cracked. “We’ve eaten them. We were sooo hungry,” Vinnie happily confessed to their teacher on her return.

They reminded me of me at around 7pm on Day 1 of my new diet!
