City set to tempt Sterling with new deal and pay hike

RAHEEM STERLING is in line for a bumper new contract extension – only months after fearing his Manchester City days were over.

The England star is about to reach the halfway mark of the five-year deal he signed when he made his £44million move from Liverpool in July 2015.

And it is believed he has been told by City officials talks will start in the new year on a RUBEN LOFTUS-CHEEK has become a victim of his own talent at Chelsea – with senior players slapping him down at Stamford Bridge.
