15 dead as boat flips

AT least 15 migrants, including five children, died when their boat capsized as they tried to cross from Turkey to Greece.

The Greek coastguard said about 20 people were on board.

Rescue boats and helicopters were searching for survivors off the Aegean island of Agathonisi, close to the Turkish coast.

Yesterday’s capsize is thought to be the worst involving migrants heading from Turkey to Greece in recent months.
