Cop chase man killed

A MAN died after jumping from a window on to a cobbled street while trying to flee police.

The suspect plunged from a second-floor room above a pizza takeaway as officers tried to get in to arrest him at around 10.30pm on Friday.

Paramedics took the man to hospital where he died from his injuries.

The Independent Office for Police Conduct has opened an investigation i nt o t he death in Folkestone, Kent.
