Trump new £14m porn star battle

- By Karen Rockett

DONALD Trump’s lawyers are seeking £ 14million damages from a porn star who claims she had a fling with him.

They say Stormy Daniels, 39, broke a £93,0000 gagging deal signed before the 2016 election.

The President’s most trusted lawyer, Michael Cohen, has said he paid her out of his own pocket.

Daniels alleges her affair with the tycoon – which he denies – lasted several months in 2006.

Bullying

She has filed a lawsuit aiming to scrap the nondisclosure agreement.

Her lawyer Michael Avenatti said the damages claim was “yet another bullying tactic” against her.

The lawsuit also moves the case from a state court to federal court where it will be heard in arbitration behind closed doors.

Mr Avenatti tweeted it was to “hide the truth”.

PRESIDENT Trump has tweeted that the sacking of ex- FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe for leaking information, days before he was to retire on full pension, was “a great day for Democracy”. STRESSED students paid £2-a-go to cuddle puppies to boost “mental health and wellbeing” at Nottingham University yesterday.
