TV Chris’s hunt fury

SPRINGWATCH presenter Chris Packham has branded fox- hunting “anarchic” after a hunt dog mauled a family cat to death.

Owner Helen Keyzor, 55, said on Facebook she was “heartbroken and angry” after her 15- year- old pet Rosie was bitten in her back garden. She added Rosie “didn’t stand a chance”.

Chris, 56, shared her post and described fox hunting as “anarchic pet killing and disregard for life, people and property”.

The Albrighton and Woodland Hunt admitted t he attack and said members had tried and failed to save the cat.

Police said they were investigating the incident in Norbury, Staffs.
