Quack doc to wed patient’s widower

- By Grace Macaskill

A QUACK doc who claimed eating sweets fed the tumour that killed her boyfriend’s wife has announced she is going to marry him.

Shameless Amanda Mary Jewell – being probed by health authorities in Belize where she runs a clinic – has no formal medical qualifications.

Yet she injects patients with banned substances i ncluding experimental stem cells, fetal lamb cells and illegal blood products.

Now the charlatan – exposed by a Sunday People investigation – has begun flogging a banned “cure” made from human blood at bargain prices online. GcMAF may “pose a significant risk to health” experts say.

But Jewell is offering vials for £350 – with an £88 discount to patients in Europe – thanks to “a technical error of an extra zero when ordering”. Her patient Alika Buckwell, 42, from Brighton, died a year ago after nonsensical “treatment” including having teeth and fillings pulled out.

Now smug Jewell boasts on social media she is so “loved up” with Aliki’s widower Martin, 45, that they are to marry. She even gloated to us: “I thought you would be so kind as to add this to your next article. It is possible to have a front page this time?”
