Lone Ken’s big funeral

THE funeral of an RAF veteran who died with no known family has been moved to a larger venue after a social media plea for mourners.

At least 150 people are now expected at the farewell for Ken White, who died aged 84 in hospital.

Cambridge council have switched Ken’s funeral to a bigger chapel a week tomorrow.

Paul Knight, who helped with the appeal, said: “It made me really sad there would be nobody there.”
