WAG VARDY SET FOR TV SERIES
TV bosses are desperate to sign up Rebekah Vardy for a tell-all interview and series when the War of the Wags between her and Coleen Rooney is concluded.
Rebekah, wife of Leicester ace Jamie, has been at loggerheads with Coleen since last year when she alleged Rebekah’s Instagram account was used to leak stories about her to the press.
Rebekah, 38, denies the claims and last month launched a High Court libel lawsuit against Coleen, 34, wife of former England striker Wayne, also 34.
A source said: “Production companies are desperate to work with her and are pitching ideas to channels like TLC and ITV.
“They would love her to do a massive TV interview or series for next year. Some expressed an interest in doing a reality format show with her and the family.
“It would be a massive draw as everyone was fascinated by Rebekah and the ‘Wagatha Christie’ feud.”
Rebekah is no stranger to reality TV after taking part in the 2018 series of I’m A Celebrity. After mediation failed to settle their differences, the warring wives face estimated legal costs of about £500,000 with their case expected to be heard next year.
In a whodunnit-style operation, Coleen posted fake stories on Instagram and blocked all her followers except Rebekah then waited to see if any leaked.
