Brits barking mad for Noel the Supervet

YOU know how every time someone brings a baby into the office, everyone flocks like bees round a honeypot?

Well, multiply the cooing tenfold if you’re talking about puppies.

At the Supervet practice, none of the staff get any work done when someone turns up with a cute pup. “They go all gooey,” eye rolls Noel Fitzpatrick.

His Puppy Special on C4 on Thursday certainly gave the public what they wanted.

A litter of miniature dachshunds, a yappy West Highland terrier called Rodney and a bulldog puppy called Chica stole the show.

Even the coldest of hearts would have melted at the sight of six-week-old Peggy doing a spot of physio on an underwater treadmill.

This ‘What happened next?’ show took viewers back through all the emotional trauma of the past, and we lapped it up.
