Boss Cook is food for thought at Turf Moor

WIGAN boss Paul Cook will be a contender for the Burnley job should Sean Dyche leave this summer.

With Championship Wigan going into administration last week – and a 12-point deduction sending them into crisis on the field – the Premier League vultures are already circling over the troubled club.

And manager Cook, who has led the Latics to the League One title and to the FA Cup last eight since taking over in 2017, is viewed as a potentially ideal successor for Dyche.
