Beef over copter trip

- By Halina Watts Russell Myers

A PILOT made an 80-mile helicopter trip in lockdown – to pick up a sandwich.

A video posted online shows the chopper landing in a field as farm shop staff hand over the beef sarnie.

Chipping Farm Shop, near Preston, later posted about customers “literally flying in to collect their favourite beef barm”.

A flight radar tracked the copter to and from Salford. Police are looking into it.

Councillor Simon Hore said: “It does seem a flagrant abuse of travel rules.”

THE Duchess of Cambridge could be dragged into the bullying probe against Meghan Markle after former aides are set to claim Kate witnessed her sister-in-law’s alleged behaviour.

various households because members of the royal family, including the Duchess of Cambridge and potentially the Duchess of Cornwall, could be asked to give evidence.

Two senior members of staff have claimed that they were bullied by the duchess when Harry and Meghan were sharing staff with Prince William and Kate.

Sources have revealed how the Duchess of Cambridge stood up to Meghan after she had admonished her staff in front of others.

One former staffer, speaking on the condition of anonymity, claimed: “That was just one of a catalogue of instances where Meghan spoke out of turn to palace staff in front of other people.

“These aren’t isolated instances and there are plenty of people who have their own stories and saw Meghan’s challenging behaviour.”

Mum-of-three Kate could now be asked to give a version of events if former aides decided to name her in their representations.

The Sussexes’ spokesman said they are the victims of a “calculated smear campaign based on misleading and harmful misinformation”.
