Summer Camps

Somewhere in amongst the months of free time, many children attended summer camps of some sort. From military camps and Christian camps to Boy Scout and Girl Guide camps, these were often the highlight of the summer.

New friends were made in foreign surroundings and late nights were spent chatting between cramped bunk beds. Hearts were broken when farewells were exchanged between friends not to see one another again for 12 months.
