What inspired me...
Well, two things that inspired me to write this story.
The first was a time when I was in town and the wind was so strong that it was interrupting all the transport and people were having to walk home!
The second happened on another equally windy day when I was walking past a tall building nearer my home that “funnelled” the wind and made it even stronger. A big burly guy who was walking ahead of me saw my nervousness and the way I was being blown about and kindly offered to walk ahead and be a wind shield. It helped!
