The People's Friend

Being Ninety

-

I’ve reached the age of ninety with so many tales to tell,

The snag is that I do not always tell them very well.

I often get confused with who, why, what or when,

But my friends are very patient and they let me try again.

So with a smile and “thank you”, I start my tale once more, But after a few seconds, forget just like before! Forgetfulness is not a crime, it happens to me all the time, Maybe the time has come at last, to let the past stay in the past!
