Holiday Highlight

I have been a “Friend” reader for many years and especially enjoy one of the more recent additions in the weekly offering from Maddie Grigg and her life in Lush Places in rural Dorset.

I was on holiday in that county last week and actually had the great pleasure of meeting Maddie and her lovable dog, Arty.

I can only say how lovely it is to meet someone who works in the media who is such a genuine and friendly person. We chatted about things in general, occasionally interrupted by Arty, who thought she should have some attention (and quite rightly, when she is such a gorgeous lady!) and I can truly say that this meeting was the highlight of my holiday.

I will now look forward even more keenly to reading of the everyday pleasures, occasional trials, triumphs and so on enjoyed by the people who inhabit Lush Places.

Thank you so much, Maddie, for the time you gave me and long may you continue to grace the pages of the “Friend”.
