The Test Of Time

I thoroughly enjoyed the article “The Famous Five At 75”, as I was an avid reader of Enid Blyton books in the 1970s, when I was a teenager.

At high school, we had to write about a book we had read. I naturally chose one of the Famous Five stories and have to say it was the best homework I’ve ever had to do. Unfortunately, this was deemed unacceptable reading material – not educational enough, I suppose.

However, Enid Blyton’s books have stood the test of time and are still popular today, even after all those decades from when the first one was printed. Ms A.S., New Zealand.
