Plan events at school fundraiser

-

PEOPLE who have big parties to plan on the horizon have been invited to a fayre taking place in Bretton.

Heltwate Special School will host the Wedding, Parties and Proms Fayre on Sunday, April 29.

As well as notifying people with upcoming red letter days, the organisers are also getting the word out to attract businesses to commit to taking out a stall.

The event is being organised by Caroline Stephenson and Louise Goodlip to raise money for the school to put funds towards new play equip- ment and a new bus.

Caroline said: “We are hoping to have all different businesses for all different occasions.

“We didn’t want it to just be a wedding fayre – we wanted it to be for anything you could be organising.

“It will be indoors in the new hall, so there are no worries about the weather and it really is a case of the more companies the better.

“If people are interested at all we would be happy to show people around the school so they could how it will work.

“You can either have a stall or just put up a display board.”

The fayre will take place at the school on Heltwate between 10am and 4pm on Sunday, April 29.

Companies can pay £25 for a stall or advertising board.

All of the money raised will go back into the school, which educates children aged 4-to-16 with moderate or severe learning difficulties.

If you would like to get more information on hosting an event you can reach Caroline or Louise at the school by calling 01733 262878.
