PUPILS from the five Whittle- sey schools joined together for an exciting showcase of talent.

Children from Alderman Jacobs, Park Lane, New Road and Coates primary schools were invited to Sir Harry Smith Community College, in Eastrea Road, Whittlesey to demonstrate their creative side.

Fifteen acts performed in total, three groups from each school, and a panel made up of school staff members and the High Sheriff of Cam- bridgeshire Richard Barnwell gave feedback to each act.

Assistant principal of Sir Harry Smith Community College, Richard Potter said: “I was so impressed with the young people, both on the stage, behind the stage and in front of the stage.

“They are all so supportive of each other and I thought it was an extremely good evening.”

Pupil representatives from each of the schools worked with the Whittlesey Locality Team to plan the event.

Locality team manager, Suzanne Donovan said: “It was so inspiring to see such a fantastic project being developed.

“Especially as it was one led, designed and delivered by children and young people across Whittlesey.”
