Five held over US bridge bomb plot
FIVE men have been arrested over an alleged plot to blow up a bridge near Cleveland, Ohio, US authorities said. The FBI said there was no danger to the public because the explosive devices were inoperable and were controlled by an undercover FBI employee. Three men were arrested on Monday on charges of conspiracy and trying to use explosives to damage property affecting interstate commerce. Charges were pending against two men. The FBI said the target of the plot was a bridge over the Cuyahoga Valley National Park south of central Cleveland.
