Environment Agency lifts flood warning

A FLOOD warning in Peterborough has been lifted. The Environment Agency made the announcement yesterday morning regarding a stretch of the River Nene alongside North Bank Road in Fengate to the west of Dog-in-a-doublet Sluice. The flood warning had been in place since about midday on Monday, April 30, the first since February 27, 2010.
