Ambulance service’s warning to motorists

THE ambulance service is urging drivers to take care following heavy rain in the region. The East of England Ambulance Service has stressed the importance of being careful near flooded roads or fords, in particular. Drivers are also advised to watch their speed, leave plenty of space between themselves and other vehicles and ensure windscreen wipers are in full working order.
