TV artist will give colour to painters’ works

A RENOWN TV artist is to put a drop of colour into a paint­ing work­shop to be held in the Peter­bor­ough area.

The pop­u­lar Ge­off Kersey, who reg­u­larly ap­pears as SKY TV’S artist is to give a wa­ter­colour work­shop as part of the Deep­ings Arts Fes­ti­val.

The fes­ti­val will take place on May 13 in the new Con­fer- ence Cen­tre at the Deep­ings School, Park Road, Deep­ing St James. The work­shop is from 10am to 2.30pm with a break for lunch and places are still avail­able.

A fes­ti­val spokesper­son said: “We feel bud­ding artists will be able to learn a lot from Mr Kersey and it will be worth­while pop­ping along to the work­shop.

“Mr Kersey lives and works in the Peak Dis­trict and has a tra­di­tional style of paint­ing.

“He is well re­garded for an in­tu­itive use of colour and has a firm grasp of per­spec­tive and drafts­man­ship.
