Awards for bright and green ideas

COMMUNITY groups and individuals are being asked to come forward and shout out about how they are making an environmental change in their community. Huntingdonshire District Council want applications for this year’s Green Heart Community Awards. A spokesman said: “There are people out there with bright and innovative ideas who are making a difference.” The various categories include best primary school and secondary school, young green achiever of the year and best wildlife initiative. Applications can be made until April 27 on www.huntingdonshire. gov.uk.
