WHITTLESEY-BASED plant and tool hire company Blythewood has won the prestigiou­s Hire Company of theyear award at a ceremony at the Grosvenor Hotel in London.

The recent event organised by the Hire Associatio­n of Europe (HAE) saw companies from throughout the UK compete in all aspects of quality, customer service and health and safety.

Tony Lovelock, depot manager at the Whittlesey base, said: “It was great to win the award and cement Blythewood as one of the leading plant and tool hire companies in the UK.

Blythewood can offer a complete hire service ranging from plant hire, small tools, portable accommodat­ion and consumable­s.
