Kerry tames Tigers with fabulous five

KERRY Camwell was a sparkling Diamond at the weekend.

The Netherton Diamonds Under 16 player smashed a fabulous five goals as her side tamed Burwell Tigers 6-1 in their final Cambs Hi Tech League game.

Jenna Nairn scored the other goal in a win that moves Netherton up to fourth place in the table.

ALICE Hauck was the goalscorin­g heroine for Riverside Under 14s as they walloped Wisbech St Mary 8-0 to boost their Cambs Hi Tech League Under 14 North title hopes.

She bagged three of the goals with Brittany Ellis, Amy Gore, Millie Hopkisson and Emily Smith (2) also on target.

Riverside need a point from their last two games to clinch the title.

THERE was better news for Wisbech St Mary at Under 13 level as they ground out a 2-1 win over Hungate Rovers in an Under 13 North top-of-the-table clash through strikes by Jorgia Carr and Amy Magnus.

Substitute Gemma Ramsey scored for Hungate.

THE Netherton Diamonds Under 13 frontline of Olivia Nunziata and Emma Pollard were again in red-hot form at the weeekend.

They both claimed hat-tricks as Diamonds ran out 7-2 winners against Higham in the Mid-shires League.

Sammy Welham was their other scorer and Lauren Richards the player-of-thematch.

PETERBOROU­GH Hamptons lost 2-0 at Rothwell in the Northants Women’s League.
