Charity music event at a village pub
A FUN-PACKED music festival is planned for next month with attractions for all the family. Artists and bands will descend on the Golden Pheasant pub, in Etton, on Monday, June 4 to raise money for the Help for Heroes charity. The day will kick off at about 1pm with music and stalls. Servicemen and women from the Royal Air Force will be at the show and there will be children’s rides and a bouncy castle. Food and drink will be on offer throughout the day. Music at the festival will include Murray Hockridge, Lloyd Watson, Ben, Pennyless, The Malingerers and The Collaborators. The festival still needs financial help. Anyone who can help should contact the pub on 01733 252387.
