Police bail man after arrest at city school

A CITY man arrested at a Peterborough school has been bailed. The 48-year-old was held on suspicion of common assault and criminal damage at Nene Park Academy, in Oundle Road, on Friday, at 3.55pm. The school declined to comment on the arrest, while Peterborough City Council said its officers had been present but “the matter was confidential”. The man is on bail until May 28.
